From trailer to container

How a truckload becomes your container

  1. Pick the load

    Review the manifest: UPCs, quantities, retail values.

  2. Get FOB and CIF

    Priced to your port, with container size advised.

  3. Deposit and reserve

    The load is held once your wire clears.

  4. Transload and sail

    Loaded into a 40 ft or 40 ft HC near Long Beach and shipped.

Sizing

Will it fit in one container?

A 53 ft trailer of general merchandise usually holds 22–26 pallets. A 40 ft high-cube holds about 20–24 floor positions, more if pallets can stack. We tell you on the quote whether a load needs one container or a container plus LCL.
